South Africa with dressage team qualified for the Olympics

South Africa filled its role of the only Tokyo 2020 quota contender in group F. This completes team qualification in dressage.

The competition in Exloo, Netherlands, gathered a few athletes from group F, but only the South Africans managed to send a team. This meant that the only thing they needed for an Olympic quota was three out of four athletes finishing the competition.

The task was completed by the athletes. However, the country cannot be sure of start in Tokyo – they still need three athletes with a minimum eligibility requirements achieved by 1 June 2020.
